Restoring from Single Devices 

The FILE command gives the tape device a filename and identifies the
device.  To RESTORE files from only one device, back reference that
device in your RESTORE command.  For example:

     :FILE T;DEV=TAPE 
     :RESTORE *T;@.OPERATOR.SYS
