Converting Data Files convert3, the file conversion utility, converts specified data files from RM/COBOL format to the format used by this system. This ensures that when you run your RM/COBOL programs within this COBOL environment, you can still access existing data files which they have produced. In order to convert your data files to the format used by this system, you must supply convert3 with the syntactically correct RM/COBOL source programs which produced them. See Chapter 8 thru Chapter 10 for full details on convert3.
