Appendix M Glossary Introduction The terms in this chapter are defined in accordance with their meaning as used in this document describing this COBOL implementation and may not have the same meaning in others. These definitions are also intended to be either reference material or introductory material to be reviewed prior to reading the detailed language specifications that are contained in this manual. For this reason, these definitions are, in most instances, brief and do not include detailed syntactic rules. No dialect indications are included in this appendix.
