Transaction Summary Information 

The Transaction Summary Information screen shows information about all
instances of the active transaction during the monitored run and a
breakdown of its average processing time detail.

If the percentage in application code is significant, the Code File
Sample Profile screens can be used to show where this time was spent.  If
the percentage in system code is significant the Transaction Intrinsic
Profile screen will show in which monitored intrinsics the transaction
spent its time.

HP SPT/XL does not present percentages for all possible wait states that
may constitute transaction processing time, for example, father/son wait
and timer wait.  Consequently, the percentages shown may not total 100.

Access this screen by selecting  Summary Info.

Average process time      Average time this type of transaction took to

% in system code          Percentage of processing time in system code.

% in application code     Percentage of processing time in application
                          code.

Average think time (sec)  Average time spent waiting for terminal input.

% CPU time                Percentage of intrinsic processing time spent
                          using the CPU.

% waiting...              Percentage of intrinsic processing time spent
                          in wait states.

Average disk blocks read  Average number of blocks read from disk.

Average disk blocks       Average number of blocks written to disk.
