SHARE
The SHARE command can be used to share a disc, share a device, or remove
a share to a disc or device. You use the SHARE command at the RESMGR>
prompt. This command has minimal functionality for sharing discs and
devices. You may prefer to use the SHAREDISC or SHAREDEVICE commands,
which will prompt you for all needed information to share a disc or
device.
Abbreviation: SH

To share a disc:
SHARE sharename=path[password][/RWC]
sharename Name that represents the physical path. It can be
up to 80 alphanumeric characters.
= (equal sign) Tells the program that you want to share a disc.
If you do not include the equal sign, RESMGR
understands that you want to share a printer or

name matching your sharename entry.
path Complete pathname of the directory being shared, in
DOS file naming format. It can be up to 80
characters. The pathname follows the format
