HP Resource Sharing for MPE/iX

Host Diagnostic Interface 

The Host Diagnostic Interface (HDI) provides access to the basic
diagnostic programs and can be can be used interactively by displaying
screens or typing commands.  HDI can also be accessed programmatically by
Resource Sharing programs.  A batch mode test can be run by assembling
the appropriate commands in a file and streaming the job.  (Refer to
Table 7-1 and the section "Running Tests in Batch Mode" in this chapter.)


NOTE  Screens are only available with Hewlett-Packard PCs and terminals
      that support V/3000.  If you are using an IBM personal computer or
      a terminal that does not support V/3000, you must enter commands.
