HP Resource Sharing for MPE/iX
Resource Manager Utility
This section explains errors you may encounter when using the Resource
Manager Utility (RESMGR).
RSM3001 Unable to access error message catalog.
RESMGR is unable to access the error message catalog. It may be secured
against access or be missing entirely.
Check the security on the file and release it if necessary. If the
file is missing, use the MPE Restore function to restore the current
catalog file.
RSM3002 Command too long.
Your entry exceeded the allowable limit of characters per command. If
you were using the REDO command, you may have inserted (I) or replaced
(R) enough characters to make the existing command string too long.
Retype the command using fewer characters.
RSM3003 Illegal redo character.
You typed an illegal REDO character. Valid characters are I (insert), R
(replace), D (delete) and U (undo).
Retype the command.
RSM3004 This is a nonexistent command.
The command you typed was not recognized by either RESMGR or MPE. RESMGR
commands are context-sensitive, and are recognized only in their
appropriate functional areas.
Type the corrected command.
RSM3005 Disc error reading data from host.
RESMGR encountered an MPE file system error while trying to read data
from the HP 3000.
Read the MPE error message for more information.

the HP 3000.
Read the MPE error message for more information.
RSM3007 Unable to open localization file. Default used.
RESMGR was unable to find the requested localization file. A
localization file allows local language translations of the screen
displays and messages. This is an informational message. The program
continues, using the default language, Native-3000.
You may need to re-install the localization file.
RSM3008 Unable to register with the diagnostic program.
Each time RESMGR runs, it identifies itself to the Diagnostic program.
This error occurs when RESMGR is unable to locate the Diagnostic program.
It doesn't prevent RESMGR from continuing, but you won't be able to run
diagnostics.
Load the Diagnostic program, then rerun RESMGR.
RSM3009 This function not allowed with current account capability.
You tried to perform a RESMGR function that is not available to you. The
function requires SM or NM capabilities.
Perform the function based on your logon account capabilities.
RSM3010 Too many parameters.
Your entry may have been a combination of command mode and function key
instructions, or you may have typed too many parameters in a command
string.
Perform the function using either the command mode or function key
interface. Command mode lets you fully specify all parameters in one
string, and the function key interface prompts for each parameter. Refer
to Chapter 11, "Resource Manager Commands," or type HELP command to
review the command syntax.
RSM3011 - RSM3100
Not used.
RSM3101 There is activity on the network. Tables not released.
You tried to release the tables while there were users on the network.
Wait until there is no activity on the network, then release the
tables.
RSM3102 Unable to purge the share file.
Your attempt to purge the share file was unsuccessful because of an MPE
file system error. Although it is unlikely, it is possible that activity
on the network is preventing the purge.
First, choose ~~Share Status f5 to be sure no users gained access to
the network between the time you released the tables and your attempt to
purge the share file. Next, check security on the share file
(PDSHARE.PPC.SYS) and release it if necessary. If neither of these
actions solves the problem, contact your HP representative.
RSM3103 Share file not purged. Release the tables and try again.
You tried to purge the share file without first releasing the tables.
Release the tables, then purge the share file.
RSM3104 Unable to purge the configuration file.
Your attempt to purge the configuration file was unsuccessful because of
an MPE file system error.
Check security on the configuration file (PDCONFIG.PPC.SYS) and release
it if necessary. If this doesn't solve the problem, contact your HP
representative.
