HP Resource Sharing for MPE/iX
TYPE
The TYPE command displays the contents of a file on the screen. You can
also use the TYPE command to print a file's contents.
To pause the display, press CTRLS. To continue the display, press CTRLQ.
To cancel the display, press CTRLY.

TYPE [drive:] [path\]filename [> device]
drive: Drive containing the file you want displayed.
path Path to the file you want displayed (any valid DOS file
path).
filename Name of the DOS file whose contents you want to display.
device MPE device name to which you want to print. It can be
any valid MPE device class name or a back-referenced MPE
file equation.
For example, to display the contents of the shared disc file SALESRPT in
the current directory, enter:
