To Print a Specific Report.
* Type the item number or the item key of the report you want.
For example, to print the "Versions Report," which lists the HP
Predictive Support ruleset versions currently on the system, type either
2 or versions
NOTE The requested report is printed to the output destination
designated in Item 6 of the Print Reports Menu.
To Temporarily Change the Report Output Destination.
To temporarily change the output destination of the report you are
requesting:
1. Type 6 or change. You are then prompted for the new output
destination.
2. Type either d (Device), f (File), or s (Screen).
a. If you type d, you must supply the device class name, as
reflected in SYSGEN, and a fully qualified environment file
name (if the device requires one).
i. Example of device class name: pp
ii. Example of fully qualified environment file name:
elite.hpenv.sys
b. If you type f, supply a fully qualified file name unless
you want the report file written to the PRED group of the
SYS account.
Example: psxlrpt.pred.sys
NOTE The change is temporary, and remains in effect for the time you are
in this menu only. Once you leave the menu, the output destination
reverts to the default that appeared on the menu when you first
accessed it. To change the default, go to the Reports Output
Options Menu (see Figure 4-10).
