HP Predictive Support CE Guide For HP 3000 Series 900
Phase 9: Reviewing the Action Summary Report
Review the Action Summary Report that is automatically generated after
the first run.
1. Review the Action Summary Report, paying particular attention to
the different event messages. See Chapter 6 for a description of
the report and its content.
2. For the first run, look for significant event messages that are
preceded by INFORMATIONAL (RC), WARNING, and WARNING (RC) since
these are messages indicating a potential problem. You may
resolve these messages by
* Diagnostics
* Reproducing the problem to determine the cause.
* Calling the HP Response Center.
_________________________________________________________________
NOTE This is a critical step in completing the process. The
Action Summary Report from the first run contains the only
record of events from the first run. Remember that first
run events (for example, all INFORMATIONAL (RC) and WARNING
(RC) messages) are not transmitted to the HP Response
Center.

3. For subsequent runs, resolve those event messages preceded by a
WARNING or WARNING (RC).
