Phase 3: Determining the Configuration Information
Determine the following information (which should match the customer
contract information in IBS/SPORTS) that you need for configuration:
* Transfer Information
* Modem LDEV for dialout.
* Modem dialout method (autodial or manual) and configuration
type (if using a DTC).
* Automatic transfer initiated by HP Predictive Support or by
the system administrator
See Table 4-2 in Chapter 4 for further information.
* System/Site Information
* System serial number
* System model number
* Software handle
* Company name
* Name of contact person
* Phone number of contact person
* U.S. or Europe date format for reports
* Repair office code
See Table 4-1 in Chapter 4 for further explanation.
* Peripheral Devices
* Device serial number
* IO path (PDEV) of device
* Device model number
* Device coverage to be enabled or disabled
