HP Performance Collection Software User's Manual (for MPE Systems)

ALARMS 

ALARMS [ON ]
       [OFF]
You can set the alarms ON or OFF to select whether or not to print
individual performance alarm events in the SCAN report.  See the
description of the SCAN command for information on this report.  See also
chapter 7 on Performance Alarms.

The default is ALARMS=ON if alarm definitions were found during the last
PARMFILE command.
