X-Axis Option
The X-Axis option appears on the Draw Graphs dialog box.
Use it to choose the horizontal time scale.
Select one of the X-Axis options--Day, Week, Month, or Year--to choose
the width of the window (the time width of the graph).
Figure 10-78. X-Axis Option
The X-Axis option controls the horizontal scale of the HP LaserRX/MPE
graphs. The scale is measured in units of time.
The four options are:
* Day.
The graph will show 1 day of data. Day is defined by the Shift
option. That is, 1 day could be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 7 p.m. to 4
a.m., or the default of 24 hours.
_________________________________________________________________
NOTE Disc space graphs are not plotted if the X-Axis is set to
Day, since disc space data is collected only once each day.
_________________________________________________________________
* Week.
The graph will show 7 days of data (5 days if Ignore Weekends is
chosen).
* Month.
The graph will show 31 days of data.
* Year.
The graph will show 365 days of data.
If you enable Ignore Weekends, no X-Axis space is provided on the graph
for weekend days.
NOTE The X-Axis option does not need to be as large as the amount of
data in the logfile. For instance, you can have a logfile with
several months of data and decide to look at only 1 day at a time.
