Transferring Files 

Once you have logged on to the remote host, you can transfer files from
your system to the remote host, or from the remote host to your local
system.

Types of Files You Can Transfer 

The following types of MPE XL files can be transferred to a remote host
using FTP: ASCII or binary files with fixed or variable length records,
of MPE XL standard (STD) file type.

The following MPE XL file types cannot be transferred with FTP:

   *   Keyed sequential access method (KSAM),

   *   Relative I/O (RIO),

   *   Circular (CIR), and

   *   Message (MSG).

In addition, undefined (U) record format files cannot be transferred.
