&CALLFATHER Syntax &CALLFATHER Description &CALLFATHER forces the HP Desk user interface program to suspend (in the MPE sense) and activate its father process. This can be used to implement application data passing where HP Desk is invoked as a son process of an application rather than the other way round. The father process calling HP Desk is able to use the application umbrella as if it were a son of the HP Desk user interface. See Chapter 11 for more information on application data passing.
