$ID [ HP DeskManager Customization ] MPE/iX 5.0 Documentation
HP DeskManager Customization
$ID
Syntax
$ID <page no> [,"<subject>"]
where:
<page no> is the page number of the help text being entered,
in the range 0-8999.
<subject> is an optional title or a description of a page, up
to 60 characters in length.
Description
The $ID directive is used to declare a help page. It is used in all help
pages supplied by Hewlett-Packard. The description will be shown at the
top of the page and left justified by HP Desk when the page is displayed.
If preferred, the $TITLE directive can be used within the page definition
to supply a page description. If the $TITLE directive is used, then the
<subject> supplied in it will override any subject supplied with the $ID
directive. If no subject is present and no $TITLE directive appears in
the page definition, then no description will be shown. It is used in
exactly the same way as the $IDNONHP directive (explained below).
