Chapter 16 Examples of Customization This chapter contains examples of the sort of things you may want to use programmatic integration and customization for. It describes a situation and then gives several ways of achieving a particular aim, with points to consider about each solution. The idea is to show that there is usually more than one way around a problem and it is important that you consider all the implications in order to get the best solution for your circumstances. Note that these examples only consider the use of Application Data Passing, Script files and FSC. None of the examples use the HP Desk Intrinsics, which are only available as part of HP DeskManagerPLUS and may be better suited to solving these problems.
