<SUBJECT> 

Syntax 

<SUBJECT {item} >

where:

item                  quoted string or numeric value in the range 1 to
                      1023

Description 

<SUBJECT> returns a quoted string representing the subject of the first
item found in the current area that satisfies the criteria specified in
item .  Partial strings may also be used in item.  If several items in
the current area satisfy a string given in item, only the first will be
returned - a list of possibilities is not generated.

Example 

     &PRINT <SUBJECT "not bo">

If you are in the Filing Cabinet this would return "notice board".
