Deleting Messages 

When you want to throw away a message, use the DELETE command.  HP Desk
places deleted messages and items in the Waste Basket folder in your
Filing Cabinet.  If you delete a message by mistake, you can often
recover it from the Waste Basket.  See "The Waste Basket" .

You can also delete part of an open message, but only if you created the
message.

To delete a message: 

   *   Type DELETE followed by the message number or subject, and press
       Return.  The subject must be enclosed in double quotes.

   *   At the MESSAGE > prompt type DELETE and press Return 

To delete part of a message you have written: 

   *   At the MESSAGE > prompt type DELETE followed by the number of the
       part, and then press Return
