sigpending

Returns the set of pending signals.

Syntax

     #include <signal.h>
     int sigpending (sigset_t *set);

Parameters

set A pointer to a structure of type sigset_t that is to contain
           the signals that are blocked from delivery and pending for the
           calling process.

Return Values

0          Success.

-1 An error occurred. No information is returned, and errno is
           set to indicate the error condition.

Description

The sigpending() function returns to set the set of signals that are
blocked from delivery and pending for the calling process.

Implementation Considerations

Refer to the EFAULT error description below.

Signals that are both blocked and ignored for the calling process remain
pending if generated for the process.

Errors

If an error occurs, errno is set to the following value:

EFAULT CAUSE The system detected a NULL or bad address in
                                  attempting to use the set parameter.
                  ACTION Make sure that the pointer is correctly initialized.
