STATUS
Syntax
STATUS {[LDEV=]moldev}
Parameters
LDEV Specifies the LDEV number of the magneto-optical
device for which you want information to be
displayed. The number assigned as the LDEV can
range from 2 to 32767. Specifying the LDEV of
either drive produces the same display.
Description
The STATUS command produces a display that shows the volume set names and
media names of each media surface currently loaded in each storage slot.
If media has been pre-erased by the SCRATCH or INITMO command, the
notation pre-erased will also be displayed.
A media storage slot may be labeled Occupied with Unknown Media under the
following conditions:
1. Media currently occupies a previously empty media storage slot,
and the SYNCTABLE command has not been executed.
2. Media has not been removed from a media storage slot which was
previously released with the UNLOAD command.
Note that the display is inaccurate if you have not executed the
SYNCTABLE command after loading or unloading media. Figure 4-1 shows
an example of the status information format.
If the STATUS command is entered while the system tables are being
synchronized, you will see the following message:
*Note: The Optical Disk Library System is currently being synchronized.
*Note: The following status information may not be current.
