Using the MPE/iX Shell DISPLAY Environment Variable 

To identify the display to be used, assign its full identification to the
shell environment variable DISPLAY. Once the DISPLAY variable has been
set, applications run without overriding parameters using the value of
that variable to determine which display to use.  For example:

     $export DISPLAY=HPMYDISP:0.0 
     $PIZZA 

In this example the application PIZZA displays its output on screen zero
of display zero of node with a name of HPMYDISP.
