Logging on to the HP 3000 host 

To establish a session on an HP 3000, you must have a logon
identification.  On MPE/iX, a logon consists of a user name and an
account name, and the format for it is user.account.

Once a logon has been created, it may be used in conjunction with MPE's
HELLO command to establish a session on an HP 3000.  For example:

     :HELLO MANAGER.SYS
