Modifying the Access Optimization Plan with SETOPT 

By default, the ALLBASE/SQL optimizer chooses the access plan for
queries.  You can specify the access plan with the SETOPT statement.  For
example, you can specify the use of either serial, index, or hash access
for a particular statement.  See the "SETOPT" section in the ALLBASE/SQL
