Appendix A  Design for a High-Performance Interactive Table Editor 

The following design shows how you can create interactive table editing
for your applications while maintaining high concurrency using standard
ALLBASE/SQL. The editor described supports very fast scrolling and very
high concurrency by not holding any locks while terminal I/O takes place.
High performance also derives from the use of BULK commands.
