Authorization Special MPE XL capabilities are not required to invoke ISQL. To execute database access statements, however, you must have the proper ALLBASE/SQL authorization. The authorization required to execute SQL statements is defined in the ALLBASE/SQL Reference Manual. The authorization required to execute ISQL commands that access a database is defined in this manual. To access files in groups or accounts other than your current group and account, both you and the files you want to access must satisfy MPE XL file system security.
