Chapter 4 Recovering Your System Using the HP Factory Preload Tape (FTP) The procedure described in this chapter is not part of the normal installation process for starting your system. Recovering your system using the factory preload tape (FPT) should be performed only by system management trained personnel or a Hewlett-Packard Service Representative. This procedure may result in loss of user data if it is performed inappropriately.
