Setting Passwords 

   1.  Use the following commands to assign passwords to the account SYS,
       user MANAGER, and group PUB for MANAGER.SYS,PUB.

                 :ALTACCT SYS;PASS=password 
                 :ALTUSER MANAGER;PASS=password;HOME=homegroup 
                 :ALTGROUP PUB;PASS=password 

   2.  Hewlett-Packard also recommends that you set passwords for the
       following accounts and users.  These accounts and users are
       currently created and/or modified during the installation process,
       regardless of the type of products on the SUBSYS tape.  You may
       find that some of these accounts do not contain files after you
       complete the installation.

   *   CONV

   *   CLL

   *   HPOFFICE

   *   HPPL85

   *   HPPL87

   *   HPPL89

   *   INDHPE

   *   ITF3000

   *   RJE

   *   SUPPORT

   *   TELESUP

   *   SNADS

   *   SYSMGR

   *   HPOPTMGT

   *   HPSKTS

   *   HPNCS

   *   NETWARE

   *   SYS

   *   HPLANMGR

   *   HPX11

The following users are created and/or modified to have OP and/or PM or
SM capabilities.  Hewlett-Packard recommends that you set passwords for
these users.

   *   MANAGER.SYS

   *   MGR.HPOFFICE

   *   FIELD.HPPL85

   *   MGR.TELESUP

   *   MGR.SNADS

   *   MGR.SYSMGR

Record the passwords and keep them in a secure place.
