Product Update Overview
This release of HP ALLBASE/BRW contains several important enhancements:
* Third-party indexing
BRW now offers full support for third-party indexing extensions.
* Support for laser printer escape sequences
You can now use laser printer escape sequences in BRW to create
reports that take advantage of laser printer capabilities such as
additional font sizes, bold typefaces, underlining, and other text
enhancements.
* The default value for the print device on the Execution Values
screen is now extended so that any print device field in BRW takes
its value from the Default Print Device field.
* The Online Review screen shows line (or page) and column numbers
and also allows you to "go to" a selected line or page.
* Error messages for the compiler have been improved.
* There are improved prompts for saving and deleting reports.
* The VERIFY function now gives full version availability
information.
* Additional information on Use Items screen.
The Use Items screen now shows the data type (N,S,I,D,T,R) and the
length for string types.
* BRWSTOA, an improved RSPEC lister utility, has been added.
