Additional Commands
The following paragraphs describe various commands you can use with the
migration aid:
: (this colon is the MPE prompt)
: executes MPE commands from the migration
aid. The colon is part of an MPE command.
Type it before the command name when you are
using MPE commands from the migration aid or
from within the HP Business BASIC/XL
interpreter.
HELP or H HELP or H prints a brief summary of migration
aid commands on your screen.
EXIT or E EXIT or E leaves the migration aid and returns
you to MPE.
! (exclamation point)
The exclamation point "!" is the comment
command. Use it primarily for entering
comments in job streams. In job streams, you
must precede the "!" with a blank to prevent
MPE from changing it to a colon ":". The
migration aid places any comment lines in the
output file. Otherwise, comments are ignored.
