Process Overview 

The list below briefly outlines the migration process.  Each step
corresponds to a chapter.

   1.  Plan the migration.  See chapter 2, "Planning Your Migration from
       Business BASIC/V," for more information.

   2.  Evaluate the extent and complexity of manual changes needed by
       specific programs.  See chapter 3, "Evaluating Changes You Need to
       Make," for more information.

   3.  Change Business BASIC/V BASIC SAVE and BASIC DATA files to HP
       Business BASIC/XL files.  See chapter 4, "Migrating Business
       BASIC/V Files," for more information.

   4.  Migrate TurboIMAGE Databases.  See chapter 5, "Migrating
       TurboIMAGE/V Databases," for more information.

   5.  Enhance and optimize your applications.  See chapter 6, "Enhancing
