DEFAULT OFF Values that are out of range cause arithmetic errors, explained under the DEFAULT ON statement. The DEFAULT ON statement overrides those error messages. The DEFAULT OFF statement is used following a DEFAULT ON statement to reinstate those error messages. The DEFAULT OFF value is also set when you initially enter to the interpreter. Syntax DEFAULT OFF If the DEFAULT OFF value is set, program execution is suspended when you encounter one of these errors.
