HP Business BASIC/XL Reference Manual

ATN 

The ATN function returns the principal value of the arc tangent of a
number.  The result can be expressed in angular units of degrees, grads,
or radians.

Syntax 

ATN(n)

Parameters 

n                The number to be evaluated.  n is a REAL number.

The ATN function returns a REAL number.

Examples 

     10 A = ATN(0.7)   !A = 34.99 (Degrees)
     20 B = ATN(0.7)   !B = 38.88 (Grads)
     30 C = ATN(0.7)   !C = .61 (Radians)
