MPE/iX Quick Reference Guide

SYSGEN 

Use SYSGEN to modify your system configuration.  Changes are written to
disk or to tape.  They do not become effective until the system is
restarted.  SYSGEN has a global module and four configurator modules:

   1.  Input/Output (I/O) Configurator.  Configures local devices.
   2.  Logging (LOG) Configurator.  Configures user and system logging
       processes.
   3.  Miscellaneous (MISC) Configurator.  Configures miscellaneous
       items.
   4.  System File (SYSFILE) Configurator.  Changes the list of files
       dumped to an SLT.

      SYSGEN 
     sysgen>command name
