Renaming a Spool File
Use RENAME.
Since spool files are ordinary disk files, RENAME renames unlinked spool
files if you have access to them. You cannot rename a spool file that is
in IN.HPSPOOL or OUT.HPSPOOL. You must first copy the spool file to your
account and then rename it. When you copy a spool file into your
account, however, it is no longer linked to the spool file subsystem.
To rename output spool file O1234, which is in your account, enter:
RENAME O1234, new1234
