Changing a Spool File's Characteristics
You can change an output spool file's characteristics by using the SPOOLF
command. Try the following.
LISTSPF
Notice the priority (PRI) of your spool files. Now choose an output
spool file that is listed. To change the output priority of that spool
file to 3, enter:
SPOOLF Onnnn;ALTER;PRI=3
LISTSPF
where Onnnn is your output spool file. Your spool file's priority should
be 3. Check the LISTSPF display to verify this.
Now enter LISTSPF again and notice both the COPIES and STATE fields of
one of the output spool files. Enter:
SPOOLF nnnn;ALTER;COPIES=3;DEFER
LISTSPF
Notice the changed number of copies and state.
