Using the 900 Series HP 3000: Fundamental Skills Module 7: Solutions Guide

Lesson 2:  Software 

   1.  Any of the following are typical tasks:  electronic mail; document
       processing; data processing; games; form or menu creation.

   2.  MPE stands for multi programming executive.  MPE/iX is the
       operating system for the 900 Series HP 3000 computers.  MPE/iX
       manages all system resources and coordinates the execution of all
       programs running on the system.

   3.  CI stands for the command interpreter.
