Resume Printing with the SPOOLER  

To resume printing after the spooler has been suspended, use the SPOOLER
DEV=;RESUME command.  If only the ldev parameter is specified, printing
resumes at the beginning of the spoolfile, for either this device or the
device class which contains the device, with the highest print priority.
If any other parameter is included, the spooler tries to resume printing
the previously ACTIVE file.  It will do so even if:

 *  The file is not the highest priority file available or has a priority
    below the outfence.

 *  It has been assigned to another device or class while the spooler is
    suspended.

However, the attempt will fail (and the spooler will select the highest
priority available file) for the following reasons:

 *  The file is not available because it became ACTIVE on another device
    while this spooler process was suspended.

 *  The file was deleted while the spooler was suspended.

Resume Spooling 

To resume spooling from the beginning of the spoolfile on logical device
number 6, enter:

     SPOOLER DEV=6;RESUME;OFFSET=1 Return 

The system displays:

To suspend and then resume spooling on logical device number 6,
backspacing 5 pages, enter:

     SPOOLER DEV=6;SUSPEND;KEEP Return 

     SPOOLER DEV=6;RESUME;OFFSET=-5 Return
