Controlling Printer Access via Spooler Commands
Spooler processes are controlled with the SPOOLER command to start, stop,
suspend, resume and release files. The SPOOLER commands use the
parameters ldev (logical device number), devclass (device class) and
devname (device name).
The SPOOLER DEV=;START command also uses the SHUTQ parameter, while the
SPOOLER DEV=;STOP command uses the OPENQ parameter. The above commands
may be issued only at the console unless distributed to users with the
ALLOW or ASSOCIATE command.
