QUERY/V Reference Manual
EXIT
Terminates QUERY execution.
Syntax
E[XIT]
Discussion
You can enter the EXIT command whenever QUERY prompts for a command.
QUERY execution terminates and control is returned to the operating
system. The operating system then prompts you for a command with the
colon prompt character.
In job mode, you must use an EXIT command to terminate a set of QUERY
commands. The EXIT record should be followed by an MPE command (usually
:EOJ). Refer to Section 2 for further information on using QUERY in job
mode.
Example
>EXIT
END OF PROGRAM
:BYE
