The Relocatable Library Commands 

HP Link Editor/XL provides a full set of commands to manipulate
relocatable object modules within relocatable libraries.  All relocatable
libraries start as compiled relocatable object code.  Use the ADDRL
command to place the relocatable object modules produced by a compiler
into a relocatable library.  You can extract selected modules from a
relocatable library and put them into a new relocatable object file with
the EXTRACTRL command.  You can also copy relocatable modules between
relocatable libraries or purge selected modules from a specific library.
Figure 5-3  shows how these commands relate to relocatable object
files and relocatable libraries, as well as the other relocatable library
commands that the link editor provides.
