PICTURE Clause 

SDCDE must generate a PICTURE clause for all elementary elements in
SDCDE.

Syntax 

     PIC edit-mask 

Parameters 

edit-mask        This clause is generated from the edit-mask attribute or
                 from the byte-length, display-length, and decimal
                 attributes, depending upon the EDIT-MASK option (see
                 Appendix C).

Description 

The PICTURE clause is restricted to the elementary elements only, and
cannot be used at the group level.
