Chapter 3  USING THE DICTDBM COMMANDS 

OVERVIEW 

The DICTDBM commands are used to create and maintain entries in the
Dictionary.  These entries define and describe data elements and
structures.  Each entry in the Dictionary is unique.

The following structures can be defined in the Dictionary:

 *  IMAGE databases and security
 *  Other file structures (MPE, MPER, KSAM, and VPLUS)
 *  Application programs
 *  Physical locations
 *  Organizational structures
 *  HP Inform/3000 groups

This section gives an overview of how to use the commands to create and
maintain each structure.
