Netware 3.11 for the HP 3000 Installing and Administering Guide

Chapter 4 Setting Up a NetWare Client

If you already have NetWare servers on your network, you can use an
existing NetWare client to check connectivity with the NetWare for the HP
3000 server.

If you do not have any other NetWare servers, you must configure at least
one NetWare client. The instructions in this chapter assume you have:

   * Already installed the LAN card in the PC.

   * Minimum PC requirements: 640KB memory, DOS 3.0 or greater,
       high-capacity diskette drive (3.5 or 5.25 inch).

   * Know what type of LAN card you installed and the interrupt number,
if any. Make sure you have the LAN card documentation and LAN
       driver software available.

Limitations Macintosh clients, OS/2 clients, and Windows 95
clients are not supported, for this release of
                      NetWare/iX.
