HP FORTRAN 77/iX Reference

TYPE Statement (Executable) 

The TYPE statement transfers data from memory to the standard output
unit.  (FORTRAN unit 6 is preconnected to the standard output unit.)


            

Semantics 

The TYPE statement, which is an extension to the ANSI 77 standard, is
equivalent to the PRINT statement.  See "PRINT Statement (Executable)"
 for further information.
