CONFIGURATION SECTION 

The CONFIGURATION SECTION may include the following paragraphs:

   *   SOURCE-COMPUTER paragraph, for defining the characteristics of the
       computer system on which your HP COBOL II source program will be
       compiled.

   *   OBJECT-COMPUTER paragraph, for specifying the characteristics of
       the computer system on which the resulting object program will be
       run.

   *   SPECIAL-NAMES paragraph, for specifying symbolic characters and
       the relationship of special function names to mnemonic names
       appearing in the source program.

The CONFIGURATION SECTION format is shown on the next page, and each
paragraph is described on the following pages.
