Logic Tracing and Message Delay Time This release of HP ALLBASE/4GL includes programmatic control over logic tracing and message delay. You can now turn trace mode on or off by typing CTRL + C after starting the application under the developer application. As you run the application, trace mode messages and prompts are displayed. Trace mode can also be activated by moving a non-zero value into the new *LTRACE communication area from within a logic block. To turn trace mode off, move a zero into *LTRACE. Control over the message delay time is accomplished through the *MSGDELAY field described in the next section.
