File/SQL Table Deletion Screen 

This screen allows you to delete existing HP ALLBASE/SQL tables and KSAM
data files from within HP ALLBASE/4GL.

You cannot delete serial files or HP TurboIMAGE/iX data sets from within
HP ALLBASE/4GL.

Field Description 

File Name   Enter the HP ALLBASE/4GL name of the HP SQL table or KSAM
file to be deleted.  The system displays the file type, its external
name, and the file description for confirmation.

When you press the  Commit Data  function key, HP ALLBASE/4GL displays a
message requesting you to confirm the file deletion.  Enter Y to confirm
the deletion, or enter N to cancel the deletion.

Function Keys 

f1       File Defn  Cancels the current screen and displays the file/SQL
        table definition screen.

f2       Create File  Cancels the current screen and displays the
        file/SQL table creation screen.

f3       Reformat File  Cancels the current screen and displays the data
        file reformat screen.

f6       Commit Data  Terminates the current screen and deletes the named
        file.

Additional Information 

This facility deletes the actual HP ALLBASE/SQL table or data file,
including any data in the table or file.  It does not delete the file
definition from the HP ALLBASE/4GL dictionary.  The deletions screen in
the utilities menu allows you to delete a file definition from the
dictionary.
