Application Generation 

Some parts of HP ALLBASE/4GL applications must be generated before they
can be executed.  The generation process converts your input into a
run-time form that HP ALLBASE/4GL can execute.

The following application items require generation:

   *   Calculated items.

   *   Decision tables.

   *   Functions.

   *   Messages.

   *   Processes.

   *   Record layouts.

   *   Reports.

   *   Screens.

   *   SQL logic blocks.

The Generate option on the developer main menu allows you to generate
all, or selected parts of an application.
