Storage Items Menu 

The storage items menu allows you to define the attributes of the storage
items in the dictionary.

Menu Selections 

Variables   This selection displays the variables screen, allowing you to
define variable names and to declare their attributes.

Calculated Items   This selection displays the calculated items screen,
allowing you to define calculated items.  HP ALLBASE/4GL calculates the
value of a calculated item each time the item is referenced.

Numeric Constants   This selection displays the numeric constants screen,
allowing you to assign names and values to numeric constants.

Alpha-Numeric Constants   This selection displays the alphanumeric
constants screen, allowing you to assign names and values to alphanumeric
constants (alphanumeric literals).

Scratch-Pad Field Names   This selection displays the scratch-pad field
names screen, allowing you to assign names to scratch-pad fields.

Titles   This selection displays the application titles screen, allowing
you to define titles for display on application screens or printing on
reports.

Work Areas   This selection displays the work areas screen, allowing you
to define a work area.

Catalog Display   This selection displays the catalog display screen,
allowing you to display the names of existing application components.

Function Keys 

f1       Field Specs.    Cancels the current screen and displays the
        field specifications screen.

f2       Validatn Menu  Cancels the current screen and displays the
        validation items menu.

f4       Record Layouts  Cancels the current screen and displays the
        record layout menu.
